1. Special Events

Two workshops were held on Thursday and Friday mornings: Travel Itineraries and Calendaring, and Federated Shared Calendars respectively. BOFs were also held on Friday morning on a standardized PUSH mechanism for CalDAV, and a discussion on CalConnect’s scope and activities.

Ad Hoc Committees to explore new work areas were formed for Calendaring APIs, Federated Shared Calendars, and PUSH for CalDAV, and the existing Itinerary Ad Hoc was continued. These Ad Hoc will recommend to CalConnect how to proceed in these areas.

TC XML was closed as it has completed its charter and scope of work. Follow-own activity in the area of Calendaring APIs will be explored by one of the new Ad Hocs.
